PUPPET BOOT CAMP 2010

These are sock puppets and they were made by the 1st and 2nd graders. Helpers helped alot since there was a lot of gluing. They used these puppets to sing "AT THE HOP" during the program.
As you start thru the pics of the Boot Camp you will see all the puppets that were made during camp. These puppets were performed in blacklight and so was the Signing song. Blacklight is enjoyed by all young and old alike.
Trust you will enjoy the pics and maybe see some faces you know.

These bell puppets were made by the 3rd and 4th graders. They did a wonderful job and used them in the program to sing "THE EASTER SONG".

These are the lip puppets that the 5th and 6th graders made for the program. They used them to sing to "I WILL FOLLOW HIM". They are very creative.

This is the flag puppets that the 7th thru adults made. They used the puppets to do the song "THIS IS AMERICA"during the program.

This is all the puppets that were made during the camp doing the song "IN GOD WE STILL TRUST"

This is puppeteers from 1st grade thru 5th grade. They are practicing the "VOICE OF TRUTH"with their stixs.

This is 6th grade thru high school practicing "God's Got an Army"

These puppeteers signed a song 'WE ARE AN ARMY" together under blacklight with their white gloves on during the program.

This group from Chicago performed on Tues. morning during the opening. Our Puppet Boot Camp theme this year was Eph. 6. As you see this group put on a skit about "Harry and his Armour".

This was a puppeteer acting out the Funeral of Jesus. She is from the group from Grace Church in Olney, Il.

This group was from Grace Church in Olney, Il.
They performed a very emotional song called the "Funeral of Jesus"
during Tues. morning opening at Puppet Boot Camp.

These pictures are of a group from Healing Pointe Community Church in Terre Haute, Ind.
They started puppets about a year ago and are doing great.

This picture is a puppet team from the Free Methodist Church in Newton, Il. They performed Monday morning a Spanish Song for the morning opening.

This is ALWAYS a fun class that they seem to look forward to but not sure about the helpers.
They made a bee balloon but the other balloon that they were suppose to make ended up just being what they wanted. I think that turned out better than my idea. They have wonderful imaginations.

This is Randy Cooper with his friends. He has voices for all of them. If you are looking for someone to give the message of Jesus Christ with different tools this is the man. The message is plain.

This is Randy Cooper. He came to teach and enlighten the puppeteers on puppets. The message was plain it is all about Jesus. He is a wonderful blessing to all.

These pics are of classes teaching puppet techniques.

This was class for the Sr. puppeteers. They were learning their Signing song for the program and hopefully one they can use at their church or school later.

These were some of the puppets that the 1st thru 4th made.

Lunch time! The next few pics you see is puppet groups and new friends eating together and visiting. They had 25 mins. but they put it to good use.

Lunch time! Always a good break.

LUNCH TIME!!!

These pics were taken during the Sr. class making their puppets for the program.

Do you see how intense they are at learning this??? They aren't playing ring around the rosie but learning a signing song. Together We Stand!
